
Helicopter parked on the lawn of our hotel. The pilots work with a French NGO and they ferry the sickest patients from Port aux Prince to the Dominican Republic.
Medics and relief workers have flown from Bermuda to earthquake-stricken Haiti, bringing cash, medical supplies and hope. It's hoped the team of doctors - Christopher Johnson, Stanley James and Alicia Stovell-Washington will be able to perform up to 150 life-saving operations over the next ten days.
